Audiences have delighted in Maura's high energy performances, soaring vocal range, inspiring original songs and moving interpretations of popular songs. She is a talented dancer, plays acoustic guitar and keyboard and is fluent in Spanish.
Her entertainment career has taken her from the intimacy of cabarets to the glamour of casino showrooms to the excitement of legendary boxing rings and sports arenas to outdoor festivals and Christian Praise venues. To date, Maura has recorded 4 CDs for the Clady Records label. Her first was a labor of love inspired by her dad, renowned journalist, Jack McKinney, who taught her how to play guitar and sing Irish songs with knowledge and passion.  That CD is aptly titled, "IRISH ROOTS".  It was followed by, "INSPIRATIONAL ROOTS", "SO GOOD", and "SHAMROCKS TO STRIPES". Maura's songs are of faith, family, patriotism and passion. Her original songs have earned her independent music awards and several trips to Nashville for performances in Music City.  Maura performed the video for her newest Clady Records single, “STEP, SLIDE & FLY” on the Wildhorse Saloon stage in Nashville where she also taught the accompanying, self choreographed line dance.

Maura wrote and recorded a song for the Philadelphia Eagles, which the Eagles franchise sponsored, opening songs for Atlantic City Reviews ("Legends Live" and “Follies Review”) and the score for “Cinders”, a life sized puppet original show adaptation of  Cinderella, produced by Nick and Annette Swindin. Her voice over and original jingle credits are numerous.

Doris Kavanaugh McKinney, Maura's spectacular song stylist mom influenced her career aspirations greatly. Early on, she told her mom that she wanted to sing and make people happy as she did. Now, Maura realizes that it is quite the other way around. It was the audience who blessed her mom and as a little girl, she saw her mom happy, thanks to them. Maura tells her audiences, “It is you who bless us. Never forget what a beautiful blessing you are”.

Maura is honored to have performed the Star Spangled Banner for all of the Philadelphia sports teams and she was even honored to perform it on National Television before a Phillies playoff game.

Next, Maura took a step different when an audition in New York led to her first meeting with her husband, singer/impressionist, Frank Mastro. Together they perform celebrity impression shows featuring singing and comedy all over the country. To read more about them, visit  www.TheMastros.com.
